SYBEd. students of St. Teresa's Institute of Education participated in NLIST orientation session conducted on 25 th July 2019. 49 students attended the hands-on sessions conducted in 2 batches.
All the students activated their NLIST Accounts with individual user IDs and Passwords. After the introduction to National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content, it's various e- book and e- journal databases.
students were introduced to :
bullion search,
basic search strategies,
keyword formation and
few advance search techniques to limit or expand their information search.
Searching the information through 2 databases namely H.W.Wilson and JSTOR is covered in detail in the sessions. Enlightened with the digital access to the scholarly resources, students successfully submitted the small assignment on NLIST.
