Library Staff conducted a half-day NDLI orientation session for Admin and Support Staff of STIE.
The session started with creating individual Email IDs for Support Staff.
The importance of E-resources, their authenticity, free and 24*7 accessibility, role of NDLI, how it's different but better as compared to Google, were discussed in the introductory session. NDLI's Special feature of 'offering search and acces for resources as per the Educational level i.e. from K.G To P.G.' was highlighted which made the support staff quiet happy as NDLI made it easy for them to help their children in their school projects and activities. This was followed by a detailed hand-on session.
Staff was enthusiastic to search the resources in local languages.
